Voices from the ground

Real stories from the people behind our projects

These are the stories of people whose lives have been shaped by the work we support,  stories of change made possible through trusted partnerships, community leadership, and the belief that a fairer future is worth building.

They’re not case studies. They’re lived experiences, shared with honesty, dignity, and hope.

  • The story of Kimbilio

A street corner. A day centre. A turning point.

We partner with grassroots organisations in communities most affected by global supply chains. These local charities provide frontline care, from education and trauma support to safe housing and healthcare, while tackling the root causes of exploitation. We offer flexible funding, strategic support, and ethical business partnerships to help them grow their impact and drive long-term change.

  • The story of Vincent*

Four years lost. A future rebuilt.

Vincent was just seven when he went to the market in Lubumbashi with his mother for their usual weekly shopping trip. Somewhere in the bustle, they became separated. He had no phone, no money, just the clothes he was wearing and a pair of flip flops on his feet. For many children, life on the streets is where their journey into exploitive labour begins…

“We don’t arrive with answers. We work with the people who’ve lived the challenges, and help build the conditions for change that lasts.”
