Helen Slocombe (known professionally as Helen Proctor) is a senior lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in private practice and in-house legal roles. She is currently Legal Director at a FTSE 100 communications company, where she leads on data and cyber security across the UK and internationally.

Helen advises board committees and senior executives on complex legal and ethical issues, with particular expertise in human rights, data ethics, and international regulation. She has a strong interest in safeguarding children in the digital world and brings this commitment to both her professional and voluntary work.

Alongside her legal career, Helen serves as a Magistrate in the Family Court.
