Andrew is the founder and CEO of Kumi Consulting and is internationally recognised as a leading expert in responsible business conduct and supply chain due diligence.

Under his leadership, Kumi has helped shape industry standards and regulatory frameworks, becoming a trusted advisor to global businesses, governments, and multilateral institutions. From its beginnings as a one-man consultancy, Kumi has grown into a fast-expanding international firm with offices in London, Berlin, and Lima, supported by a global network of partners and associates.

Andrew’s belief in the role of business as a force for positive change was shaped by his early years living in rural Uganda’s Kumi District. This conviction has guided his 20-year career in sustainability and human rights, including eight years in EY’s sustainability practice, before founding Kumi in 2015.

Andrew remains closely involved in Kumi’s consulting work, advising senior leaders and guiding clients through complex social and environmental risks. His experience spans Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
